That is the link to my internship that I have been working on over the semester. My father wanted a website for his law practice that was very simple. He wanted have contact info and some info about the law practice. He also wanted it to work on mobile devices. Working with Miles, we were able to create a very simple, but effective site. If we had more information to work with, we might have been able to make a multi-page site, but that wasn’t the case.

– I also worked on the Hire Us page on the new media website. I made it so that students can post their information from a form on the page. Once they post their information it then appears on the Hire Us page. The form separates the students by the categories of specialties they choose.

– I did research on urban apiary and humane slaughter for the Lexicon of Sustainability.

– I wrote a post about the capstone projects on the new media website that talked about each of the capstones and when they are being presented.

For NMD 206 I have done or continue to do the following:

– I have worked on the visuals of the new site and trying to find the best possible theme to fit the needs of the New Media program.

– I have conceptualized ideas of how people will actually be using this site and whether or not it will be students already in the program or people looking into the program or both.

– I have worked with the portfolio integration with the new New Media website and what themes fit best to showcase students work.

– I have an internship with my father to create a website for his law practice.

– I have completed phase 1 fab lab training

– I am now currently working on other projects that are on the portal2.nmdprojects.net
