Before departure to Europe, students will meet with a variety of accomplished researchers, artist and new media artists via Skype sessions. The New Media Trip to Europe is a great opportunity to see different types of Media. You will travel to Venice (Italy), Ljubljana (Slovenia), and Zagreb (Croatia). You will visit a wide variety of institutions such as, contemporary museums, academic institutions, community-based organizations involved with exploring the latest technology in New Media, art, dance, film and game design. After your tip to Europe, which is about 12 days starting October 1st, you will be expected to complete a project based on what you have learned in Europe. The cost of this trip is the tuition price of the class and $3100 dollars for air fare, train, hotels, and museum fees.
