Idea 1: I was talking to my Aunt who works at the school in my home town (EastGrand Highschool, Danforth Maine) and she mentioned that the superintendent would possible be interested in working with me, I would suggest working on things such as the schools website which looks very basic and probably not a lot of people are aware of it. It looks basic but the things it can do I feel would be the learning experience because I do visuals really well but need to work on programming skills. I also feel some facebook publicity for what is going on at the school would be good too which I could also help manage.

Idea 2: I could contact the town hall in my town and also do something similar to idea one, but more for the whole community, working on a website and or managing their facebook, increasing awareness of events going on at the town and what issues we might have. I am also from an extremely small town who is also struggling and doesn’t have any job opportunity except if you want to work in the woods. But there is a lot of stuff to do in the town and a lot of things that go on that I dont think a lot of people are aware of.

Idea 3: My Last Idea would be working on something more personal with a client such as my mother who makes beautiful crafts but has no way of publishing her creations other than through the means of her personal facebook. I could manage a website (something that I would prob  pursue even after the class) and make her a facebook account. She gets a lot of likes and comments on facebook about her creations, but they are from people in our town, and even though a lot of people enjoy her stuff, I live in a low income down and a lot of people cant afford stuff like that, so opening her range of viewers I feel would help. As I also said before I would be broadening  my skills as a website designer and learning how to advertise better for a product.
