Goals:
-User friendly
-Easy loading (some parts of the site took ages to load for me, like the gallery)
-Somewhere on the home page should include a section that takes you to the page that lists the required classes of the New Media major. It should say something like “ATTENTION INCOMING FRESHMAN” If the site had that it would have saved me a lot of grief and confusion first year.
Audience:
-Future New media students, trying to figure out what they’re getting into.
-Current New Media students trying to keep track of events

Weakness:
-At first look it feels rather chaotic
-Under the descriptions of courses I feel there should be some visuals that give a generic idea of what the course involves. Sometimes words alone don’t explain things as well as they should.
Strength:
-Holds a deep well of information about the major and department.
-Appealing color scheme, uniqueness that sets the major apart from others.

-Bland color scheme
-The Gallery’s slide show is a little too much. It loads slowly and requires specific plug-ins to run at all. If looking for specific picture I have to go through the whole slide.
