What I think the site should be

Easy to use

Clean

But not Plain

representative and informative of the Major

A resource for existing students

 

Audience

Students, both new and current

Parents

Faculty

Employers

 

Current Site

The Current NMD site is packed full of information

But this information is hard to look at and is over whelming

 

New Site Weakness (With acknowledgment that its unfinished)

Plain

not representative of the major

low information

Feels like a University of Maine updated website

 

New Site Strengths 

You can direct to the information you want rather than be over loaded with everything

Clean

Fairly Organized

 

Model Website

Not saying I would like the website to look like this, but this is an example of some design without being too drastic

Eye Catching, you know what the site is about just by looking at it.
