Self Reflection – Approach 2  – Lucas Adair

As mentioned in my Intent this would be the first iteration of a bigger project, for this version the cost/work required is fairly little. My goal is to create a simulation in Unity with a heartrate monitor attached to an Arduino and relay the user’s heartrate with a flashing LED in the simulation.

Cost of Calming Down?

$30 – Arduino

$15 – Heartrate Sensor

$20/hr – Programming work in Unity and Arduino

Total < $100, while the larger project will be much more expensive (not just work wise but an EEG alone is upward of $400+) I believe this project can be completed in <3 hours in Arduino and Unity.
