Summary/Abstract

I want to create an app for people to share beats they have made to either receive feedback on it or want to sell it.

Background

I want to create an app for people who are into music production. The idea is that people can post any beat they have made to it and either make money off of it by letting people purchase them or they can receive feedback in a comment section. As someone who’s into music production, I know it’s always good to get some other opinions before publishing a beat so you know if people will like it for the most part or not. You are able to choose a genre of music when you want to post a beat or if you are searching for a beat from a different genre. People can use this app if they want to post a beat, buy a beat, or just simply listen to beats for something to do. You can either make an account or join as a guest, but if you join as a guest then you can’t post anything or purchase anything. It would look like your typical music app where you scroll through the music until you find something you want to listen to. This app is different because instead of only having the option to listen to it, you are also able to contact the person that posted it if you are interested in buying it. There will be two parts to the app, one would be people that are finished with beats and want to sell them, and would be for people who want suggestions on how they can make their beat better.

Explanation

This app will allow people to post any beats they want, any genre of music and either receive feedback about it or put it up when it’s finished for someone to purchase. I believe it’s important to get feedback when working on something like music so you know if people will enjoy it before publishing it for everyone to see. This app is an easy way for people to get quick feedback or make money if you want to sell your beat.
