Food Analysis Blog
My current idea for an autobotography project would be creating a blog website that would show who I am as a person, through what I eat, and drink throughout an entire month. This would include pictures and videos of what I eat, along with descriptions. By this I mean I wouldn’t only show interesting, or good looking food and beverages. I would use all of it, the boring, and the delicious. Be that going out to my favorite restaurant and getting my favorite meal, or going to a gas station for a cheap slice of pizza.
The goal for this would be to show an unfiltered representation of who I am through my eating habits. I personally don’t often question what I eat; be it healthy foods, or junk food. I believe this would be an interesting way for me to realize/visualize what I typically eat, and whether or not I have worse dietary habits than I believe. Also this project would show where I go, and what I do throughout the month because I would be taking the pictures of the food at the locations I consume them/buy them. This is also important to be because food is a large part of culture, and growing up people are taught what is typical for food by their family. So this would give insight to some of the my own culture that I have in my life.
The budget for this project would be fairly cheap. The website would either be a free WordPress blog, or a paid website (costs $20 per year to maintain). The programs used for creating the website and editing it are freeware. Also if I was billing my time I would imagine I would put in at least 3-4 hour a week updating the blog. So overall for a months budget I would call it $230 in labor, and maintenance costs.

what media is the intent/project? 1-1, 1-many, many-many? explain
The project is 1-many. The creator takes the photos and videos. The audience see the same photos and videos.

The project will show who he is.

The concept is interesting. I would like to see the unfiltered representation of him. I think he only shows certain parts when he is in class.I want to see the other parts of him.

The design is clear. He will show who he is through his eating habit.

The audience get to see what he eats. His habits will reveal who he is.

He will use a camera. It is the right tool.

The cost is $20. The audience don’t have to pay anything.

who is the intended audience?
People who visit his blog.

The audience will see the real him. It will satisfy people’s curiosity.
would the project appeal to or challenge the audience? how/why?
People only show certain parts when they are around other people. I think he only shows certain parts of him when he is around people.I think people will want to see the other parts of him.

I also eat differently in front of people.
