I love this idea. I think it would be very intriguing to people walking in and out of the IMRC, it’s a very appealing way to educate everyday students on the effects of light pollution to the world around us. It would be even better to add possibly a poster to display some literature next to the box explaining some background information.

This would be something I’d be interested in being a part of/participating. A lot of us, college students,  I think really are interested in growing our own vegetables and plants but we often don’t have the time to learn the specifics of farming/gardening and attaining the resources needed to grow food. This project would make it easier for students to start projects that they may never had the time for because of this prep-phase of farming and gardening. This is awesome!

This project sounds very high-tech! But in a very cool and fascinating way, because you are literally building a relationship between technology/robotics and the environment, between the artificial and the natural. I think it’s a great project.
