Final Project- MattC, PeterB, CamB

For our final project Matt, Cam and I decided to make our music streaming website an actual thing. We named our streaming website Fapple and our goal was to create another platform for sharing music which gives more royalties to the artist. As of right now music streaming services, such as Spotify, only give artists about $.017 per stream which is extremely low. However, with our service, which would be a monthly paid service there is an option which allows you to donate to an artist of your choice, any amount that you want, which could give artists more incentive to make music and share it with their fans. I think that if artists removed their music off of other streaming services and only put it on ours their revenue would go up. The more and more artists that removed their music off of other streaming services, more users would join Fapple, allowing the community to grow. The purpose of this is to attract artists in the music industry and allow them to make more money while bringing all their fans to our platform.

The estimated cost for this would be fairly large at approximately 1 million dollars to get the web host and hire someone to code the website and then pay for a database. I think that if this was an actual thing that people got into it would grow fairly big.
