The purpose of this application is to provide the necessary steps, financial strategies to meet with someone who can help them at least achieve the dream of every college student…. to walk out of college debt free. The application will provide them with the best financial strategies, the best way to pursue each financial situation, and to provide them with opportunities to explore and find scholarships and grants that they may not know about.

The application will not only provide a source of money towards their education but, will also feature a section where they can find local jobs, for extra money. As well as find jobs within a set radius of where you are to find jobs within your major or area of passion, so that you will not only leave college debt free but we will provide you with the tools of getting through the door and meeting with clients who want you to work for them.

To make this application accessible to everyone we will have an application for both Android and iPhone, as well as a Website, so that its accessible to those who don’t have a smartphone. So, we can reach everyone whom is struggling through college financially!

So the point of this application/web design is to give resources to college students whom may not be able to scour the internet looking for financial options that suite their needs. This application will do that for them where they just have to search using keywords and the application will run through every data base in the nation or world to find scholarships or grants that certain government websites may or may not provide them.

The audience is College students and High School Seniors whom are about to enter the college life. The outreach to these students will be supplemented hopefully through school districts, advertised on Social Media, and eventually through enough outsourcing, have a small advertisement be made and uploaded throughout the internet popping up and drawing people who see it in so they can see all this financial benefits of the app. Start off locally and when its successful at one college or city then the talk about the app will slowly spread outwards.

The way I plan on approaching this idea is reaching out for example, to the bursar’s, or financial aid department and get a break down of the living cost for on-campus dorms are, and then from that break down what the cost of heating, electricity and internet would be and multiply it by how many months they are staying there in a semester. Then from there, add the numbers to a Microsoft excel sheet, then do the same with the tuition, cost per credit, difference between in-state and out of state. Break it down simply to see the difference between schools, so you can make a better financial options when deciding a college you want to go to knowing where each dollar is being sent.

With time and energy I estimate the budget to be at least $1000 to a maximum of $1500. For the construction of the app as the collaborated data involved and applying it to make as simple as possible.
