EcoTech Intent – LiwenC

Main Idea: A huge ongoing issue people are trying to deal with for a long time now is pesticides, and the problems it is causing to the environment as well as people. With many health related problems that occurs alongside the environmental damage.

Inspirations: This project is inspired by the book Silent Spring, written by Rachel Carlson, after reading this book in my Honors reading class, I realized how much of a problem pesticides still is to the environment today, and that we have been trying to control this issue for a long time now.

Summary: The main intent of this project is to build a website that is easily accessible and can teach everyone about the problems of pesticides occurring everywhere.

Budget:

• $30 – $50 dollar a hour for website programming and design.
• 5 – 10 hours of meaningful research.
