I found that the idea of creating a 3D representation of your life to be an intriguing way to express the important aspects in your life. It is these events in one’s life which help to make up each individual’s personality. Despite this, it is limited in who can accomplish this as while the software may be free to use, it is still necessary to have a computer and the knowledge needed to create something like this, which makes it limited in access to a lot of people. Also, unless these scenes are actively shared with others, it is private and probably would not have a large impact overall.
In Daniel’s project intent, he mentions that people often create an online persona of themselves which only shows off the best and most attractive aspects of their life and I agree that for almost everyone this is true. However, I feel that this doesn’t just have to do with the one who is posting but with everyone else who it is shared with as well. Almost anyone, except perhaps those who you are close to, mostly do not care to know about the boring aspects of your day to day life. I agree that without those aspects of someone’s life you can’t truly know what someone is like and I think that Daniel’s idea of having short videos on the hour can possibly be a good way of implementing the less attractive aspects of someone’s life into their social media.
