The issue that I thought about was how art supplies are overly expensive. I have often found for many of the classes I take at school I am required to get art materials for them. These materials are often bundled in a package at the bookstore, which costs a lot. Not only are these supplies expensive on campus, but they are expensive at art stores as well. This can be frustrating, and cut into budgets of students, and artists.

The strategy that I came up with to solve this issue was to create a website for people to share information about the costs of art supplies. This website would allow people to post places that they find that sell particular art supplies for a more reasonable price. For example if a student went into Bangor and found a few of the supplies required for a class for half of what they cost at the bookstore, they could make a post about it.

The other part of this website would be a DIY section. This would be  place to show people how to make some of their own art supplies for cheap, such as paper.
