My focus was on the video game company 2k, Which makes Nba 2k games. One of the main problems that the creators have is that they keep making the same game every year, the story is usually short and boring, another problem that they can’t seem to fix is that some people buy virtual currency, to make their player better right away. When it comes to online gameplay this gives them an advantage, because their player is better overall, because they cheated their way to make their player better.

My solution to the issue of 2k making boring Nba 2k games would be to communicate with the consumers. If the company took time to communicate with the Nba 2k community, and ask us for out insight, this would result in a game that the conusmers would enjoy. The consumers would benefit from this because they would feel like they took part in creating a great basketball game that everyone would enjoy.

My solution to the second problem of people buying virtual currency to make their player better right away. This makes the game less fun for players who are not as good because they are actually getting currency by playing the game, which take longer. To take care of this problem I would suggest for 2k to put these players in a separate server than the players who buy virtual currency. This would create an even playing field for both player types, and it would make the 2k community want to play the game more.
