A better approach, I believe would be to create infographics based on reporting the facts of controversial issues in the news. The infographics are a type of compact, easy to follow flow chart that social media users are accustomed to\u2013 e.g. the Oatmeal\u2019s weekly posts. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This would be beneficial to social media users who get the majority their news from memes and reposts on Facebook. Users would be engaged by the infographics and informed on the <b>facts<\/b> of the issue\u2013 citing statistical data and cross referenced sources.
