Title<\/strong> : You should know where your water comes from<\/p>\n Backgro<\/b><\/span>und<\/b>\u00a0: I tested tap water at the 3 major apartment complexes in Orono.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Explanation<\/b>\u00a0:<\/span><\/p>\n A&L Labs in Auburn wouldn\u2019t have been able to get the supplies to me in the time frame I had so I instead went to Home Depot and got a basic PH water testing kit from there.<\/p>\n ORCHARD TRAILS-<\/strong><\/p>\n Alkalinity- 40ppm<\/p>\n PH- 7<\/p>\n Hardness- 6 grains, 100ppm<\/p>\n THE AVENUE-<\/strong><\/p>\n Alkalinity- 0ppm<\/p>\n PH- 6.0<\/p>\n Hardness- 3 grains, 50ppm<\/p>\n THE RESERVE-<\/strong><\/p>\n Alkalinity- 40ppm<\/p>\n PH- 6.5<\/p>\n Hardness 3 grains, 50ppm<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Luckily, these are all healthy levels for water with the exception of Orchard Trails which is starting to border the line with the PH.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n
